The Noble Bloggers Presents: The Tequila Whisperer
The Noble Bloggers: Season 2, Week 1.

Michael “Lippy” Lipman is one of those invaluable gems that show in your life and never leaves. An accomplished cartoonist/animator with a personality that is both charming and engaging, that oozes passion and desire to learn like few people we have ever met. Way before he jumped to world-wide stardom thanks to his immensely popular and unique weekly show “The Tequila Whisperer”, Lippy was immersed in the deepest of passions to learn more about tequila in every way possible. When we met during the Blue Agave Tour a few years ago, the “click” was loud and clear: our friendship has been an ever increasing adventure of treasure hunting trips, tastings techniques, food pairings, and an endless list of “other” subjects.
It is our honor to have Michael as the leading blogger in our Season #2, so sit back, relax and enjoy the ride with “The Tequila Whisperer” on The Noble Bloggers! Enjoy his Prologue and, also, notice that in his video, the music is none other than Carlos Santana’s version of Coltraine’s “A Love Supreme”.

Hola, Friends! When I was first introduced to gourmet 100% de agave tequila more than 10 years ago there were fewer brands to choose from than there are today. Yet the quality level of many of those first tequila “pilgrim” brands was exceptional, so the competition was quite fierce. I was an early internet adopter and haunted the newsgroups and “bulletin boards” of the day searching for fellow tequila aficionados. In my investigations one brand kept coming up over and over as something special, rare, and worthy of respect: Casa Noble.
So it was that the very first gourmet brand your Tequila Whisperer threw down his OWN dollars for, was Casa Noble Crystal. And what an experience that was. I was unprepared for the gorgeous briny vegetal flavor center, and the thick wash of sweet cooked agave that left a spicy finish on the back of my throat (I’m getting thirsty just WRITING this). Since that first sip Casa Noble has been a steady “soldier” in my home bar – and I keep plenty of rare, limited edition bottles in my Man Cave’s “Treasure Tub”! Don’t know what THAT is? Then you haven’t been watching enough “Tequila Whisperer” webcasts (http://tequilawhisperer.com). Click on the link below to go to the “Whisperer” show’s archive pages.
Casa Noble, it’s an honor to be included in your “Noble Bloggers” program. Thank you for making some of the most singular-tasting tequilas in the world (tough to do). As long as you keep making it, I’ll keep sippin’ along!
Salud, Lippy.
